1. Pantothenic Acid
Pantothenic Acid is rich with Coenzyme A, which reduces oily buildup and ultimately leads to less clogged pores. I have hormonal cystic acne, and since taking pantothenic acid regularly my breakouts have reduced immensely. I still fight blackheads, but since taking this I haven’t had nearly as many painful clogged oily cysts!
2. Aveeno Face Moisturizer With SPF
Whether you have oily skin or not, your skin can benefit from moisturizer. Over washing oily skin will make your body produce even more oils to compensate. It is still important to moisturize! It is even more important to protect your skin by putting on a face lotion with SPF in it. You should be wearing sun protection EVERY DAY! The key to healthy young skin is to first avoid damaging it.
3. Urban Skin Rx Face Wash
If you’re someone who suffers from dark spots as a result of a bad breakout, then this face wash is for you. Not only did it help clear my skin up, but it evened out my skin tone as well. It comes with an exfoliating sponge, which is crucial to scrubbing away the oils and dead skin! It’s also not too fragrant or harsh, so it’s great for all skin types.
4. Cetaphil Deep Cleansing Face and Body Bar
As mentioned earlier, this soap isn’t too fragrant or harsh on skin. It works for pretty much all skin types. I personally like to use the soap bars because it’s less plastic waste, which is always a plus! Use this in the shower to take care of back breakouts as well.
5. Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a must to prevent aging. Whether or not you have dry skin, you should include hyaluronic acid in your facial routine. Not only does it help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, but it helps speed up healing to damaged skin. You can use this on other parts of your body as well, not just the face.
6. Vitamin E Oil
Since we’ve gotten onto the topic of skin damage care, vitamin E is going to be an essential part of skin care. Vitamin E oil helps to reduce stretch marks and scarring. You can also apply vitamin E before bed to allow to oils to penetrate your skin for anti aging.
7. Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is the perfect spot treatment in regards to skin care. Have a breakout? Dab some tea tree oil on it before bed and wake up blemish free. The tea tree oil works to dry out your zit, and reduce the swelling that comes along with them. Make sure to dilute it with water before using, because it is so drying.
8. Thayer’s Alcohol-Free Toner With Witch Hazel
I’ve tried a few different toners and they all seem to be a little harsh on my skin. Thayer’s toner is great, because it thoroughly cleans old residues and dead skin off without drying you out! I love seeing my cotton pad turn yellow from all the dirt and oil and leftover makeup that’s being wiped away! So rewarding!
